Former farmhouse. Circa 1840. Brick with slate and pantile roofs. 2 storeys
with cellar. 3-bay facade of sash windows with glazing bars beneath skewback
arches. Slightly recessed centre bay beneath a 3-centred enclosing arch.
Fine doorcase with traceried semicircular fanlight, a pair of freestanding
Tuscan columns supporting an open pediment and a pair of channelled pilasters
to sides. Moulded cornice and hipped roof. Single storeyed canted bay to
side of main block and irregular service extensions to rear which may in part
pre-date the main block. Interior. Stair with open string, square sectioned
balusters and swept mahogany handrail. One fireplace with a duck's nest grate.
