Former farmhouse. C17 with early C19 facade. Brick with diaper pattern on
gable-ends. Slate and pantile roofs. Long lower double pile extension to
rear of entrance block. 2 storeys with attics. 3 bays of tripartite sash
windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arcs with raised keystones.
Panelled front door with semicircular traceried fanlight. Simple doorcase
with pilasters and flat hood. Parapet. C17 gable-ends with rebuilt gables
retaining some early tumbling-in. Pair of stacks (one original) on rear wall
of main block. Lower C18 double pile service extension with dentil cornice
and 2-light casement windows with glazing bars to north. Shorter southern
pile with 5 sash windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arches.
