10/37 Coach House to
Coach house. Dated 1878 in principal gable with initials H.W.B.E. (Edwards).
Brick with corrugated tile roofs. Single pile forming entrance to stable
courtyard. One storey with attic. 5 bays accentuated by pilasters. Central
semicircular headed archway with its own roof and gables. South west gable
forms a pediment supported on a pair of triglyphs. Tympanum with moulded
brick decoration including date, initials and crest. Flanking bays have
single windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arches. Moulded dentil
cornice. 3 pedimented former windows with glazing bars beneath segmental
arches. Each dormer flanked by moulded brick half medallions. Parapet
gables and decorative ridge tiles. Entrances on courtyard side.
