Farmhouse. C17; re-faced and extended in C18. Timber framed main block faced with brick. Brick extension and pantile roofs. T-plan created by C18 rear extension. Two storeys with attic and cellar to main block.

Symmetrical facade divided into three bays by plain giant pilasters. Five bays of C19 sash windows with vertical glazing bars beneath skewback arches. C20 two-leaf raised and fielded panelled door with an C18 brick doorcase consisting of a pair of Roman Doric pilasters supporting an entablature with a moulded brick cornice. Moulded brick eaves brackets and lion's head ogee gutters. Off-centre axial stack with an arcaded chimney shaft. North gable-end with a truncated external stack which conceals a pair of lunette windows in gable. Four C19 sash windows and tumbling-in.

Several original internal features including a plain-chamfered mullion window; some fireplaces and chamfered beams. Some C18 raised and fielded panelling and C18 collar and butt-purlin roof.
