Farmhouse. C17, faced and refurbished during C19. Timber frame with gault
brick facing. Pantile roofs. Formerly of lobby-entrance type plan. 2
storeys with attic. Facade of 3 regular bays of sash windows with glazing
bars; (one blocked). Ground floor windows beneath skewback arches. Modern
front door to southern end of facade. Off-centre axial stack. C19 2-bay
side addition in red brick with 3 sash windows with glazing bars. Lean-to
outshut to rear. Interior. Fairly complete timber frame with wide chamfers
and stepped stops to spinal bridging joists and tie beams. Remains of a
clasped purlin roof extensively repaired.
