Park Boundary Wall including tower and gateway

GV II*

Boundary wall with tower and gateway. Possibly late-Medieval with important
early C19 remodelling.
Brick with some stone and moulded brick dressings. The wall has a chamfered plinth and crenellations with moulded brick copings. The tower is square in plan and has a late-Medieval quatrefoil window at mid height. C19 moulded brick arched corbel tables and a stepped crenellated parapet. Gate piers and gates. Piers in brick with raised stone angles and stone cornices with a pair of carved finials representing the Bedingfeld eagle.
Contemporary iron gates.
