GV II

Public house. Dated 1718 with initials H.R.W. but probably late C18. Colour-
washed brick with pantile roofs. 2 storeys with attic. Symmetrical facade
of 3 bays with 4 3-light mullion and transom windows with metal casements
beneath segmental arches. Panelled door with flat hood on shaped brackets
with a later 2-light casement window above beneath a segmental arch. Plain
platband. 2 gabled dormers and gable-end stacks. Lean-to outshut and a lower
service wing to rear.
