House. Circa 1700. Colourwashed brick with pantile roofs. Lobby entrance
type plan. Later addition forms an L. 2 storeys with attic. Nearly
symmetrical facade of 7 bays of which 2 bays have been obscured by the later
addition. Mainly original 2-light mullion and transom windows beneath skew-
back arches to ground floor. Late C19 part glazed door opposite stack.
Plain platband and brick dentil cornice. Off-centre axial stack. Moulded
brick cross finials to both gable peaks. C18 added block not of special
interest. Interior. Winding stair to entrance side of stack. Principal
beams with stepped chamfer stops. Fine roof of collars, staggered butt
purlins and windbracing.
