6/21 Stables and Coach House
to Holme Hale Hall


Former stables and coach house. Early C19 and later. Brick with gault brick
cornices. Slate roof. 2 storeys in part with a 7-bay symmetrical facade
consisting of 2 coach entrances to outside bays beneath segmental arches
and an inserted C20 cart entrance to centre bay. All windows boarded over.
Ground floor windows recessed within semicircular headed containing arches.
First floor windows, of which 2 are blind, are set beneath segmental arches.
Slightly advanced gabled centre bay with a circular window. Dentil cornices
and a hipped roof with a central bellcote supporting a weather vane.
