03-APR-87 Hunts Farm House

Farmhouse, dated HFS 1746 in gable. Red brick with pantile roof. Two storeys,
L-shaped plan. Facade of three bays; sashes with single glazing bar. Gauged
brick arches over ground floor openings. Central doorway with half-glazed
door and rectangular fanlight. Doorcase with Tuscan pilasters. Blind window
openings in gables; moulded brick modillion course at gable base. Blank semi-
circular headed recesses in gables below chimney stacks. Coped parapeted
gables with internal stacks. Gabled rear wing with 20th century fenestration.
Parapeted gable with large internal chimney stack.
