Almshouses. Dated 1763, but materials and details largely of 1913. Carstone plinth, squared clunch, red brick dressings and red pantiled roof. 2 storeys, U-plan with 2 returned wings and cross-wing. Nos. 18 - 24 form central range with ground-floor 2 4-light and 2 3-light casements, first floor 2 single-light, 2 2-light, 2 3-light and 2 4-light casements, all wooden framed with glazing bars. At centre 3 brick with tile keyblock arches, 2 boarded doors and central open arch, at corners 2 boarded doors. Returned wings, No. 16 and 26, with gable ends with 4 single-light casements, quoins and shaped parapet gables, brick ventilation holes in gable and paired diamond pattern stacks on apex. Returns with one ground-floor single-light and 2 2-light casements, first floor 2 single-light and 2 2-light casements. Single arched doors, boarded. Centre with 6 double shaft stacks, wings with one to ridge.
Forecourt enclosed with carstone wall.
