House, formerly farmhouse, now 3 cottages. C17. Chequer work knapped and
rubble flint with red chalk, flint galleting. Red pantiles 2 storeys with
attic. East front 3 ground floor C20 casements, 3 C20 doors. No. 55, 57
with original brick dressings to windows. No. 55 2 blocked first floor
windows, at south blocked with coursed clunch with flint galleting. No. 57
has 2 C20 first floor casements. No. 59 at north has 3-light C19 casements
with glazing bars. Brick end quoins, brick heightening courses, kneelers
and coped parapets. Steep roof with one off-centre C20 brick stack at south
and end gable stack at north. Flat roofed C20 single storey brick extension
to south of No. 55 is not of special interest.
