2/24 White Horse Public


Public House. C.1700. Whitewashed clunch with brick dressings, red pantiled
roof. 3 bay, 2 storey house with 2 storey single bay addition at south and
single storey continuations at north and rear. 2 storey house with 2 ground
floor and first floor C19 plate glass sashes with vertical glazing bars and
wooden lintels. 6 panel raised and fielded door with upper panels glazed,
wooden architrave and simple pediment pentice canopy. Blank rectangular brick
dressed fire windows at ground floor south and first floor north, 2 light
casement above door. Brick dressings to window and door openings. Brick
coped gables with end stacks. Addition at south with single ground and first
floor sash with single glazing bar. Single storey wing at north having 2
2-light casements, part glazed door and end stack. Lean-to at north with
2 boarded doors. Attached at rear single storey carstone and red pantiled
wing having 2 windows with glazing bars and 2 boarded doors.
