House Stable

G.V. II

Stable. c.1800. Squared coursed carstone facade, rubble carstone returns,
black glazed pantiled roof central roof, red pantiled wings. 3 bay single
storey centre. Lower single storey smut and red pantiled wings. Tripartite
plan, centre with 2 segmental tripartite casements, central entrance with
C20 door with margin lights either side and segmental tripartite fanlight
above, all windows with 2 upright and 2 horizontal glazing bars. Brick
rustication to openings. 2 mounting blocks attached either side of door,
sun dial above. Brick quoins, hipped roof. Attached to east and west on
axis 2 single bay wings with single segmental tripartite windows, hipped
gables.
