House. Mid-C18 and later. Brick facades, carstone returns, pantiled roof.
2 storey, double pile plan with north and south facades. Front pile has
renewed east and west gable datestone "NS 1757" for Nicholas Styleman (1721-
1788) of Snettisham Hall, but facade late C18. Fine Flemish bond brick work.
5 bays. Ground floor 4 sashes with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches
(now rendered over), first floor plat band, 5 sashes with glazing bars under
flat rubbed brick arches. Central 6 panel door, simple fanlight above,
evidence of removed porch. Steeply pitched roof, swept at eaves, west end
gable stack. Rear pile projects to east and west beyond front pile: at east
with blocked floor and one first floor sash window with glazing bars under
flat rubbed brick arches, parapet eaves, stack at east; at west ground floor
glazed French doors, upper panels with glazing bars and margin lights, first
floor sash with glazing bars, parapet eaves west end stack. Rear pile with
5 bay brick south facade. 2 storey carstone and red pantiled roof cottage
wing attached at south-east on School Road.
