Former rectory house. C.1800. Coursed, squared, galleted, carstone blocks,
slate roofs. 2 storeys. Regular 4 bay entrance facade to south-east,
irregular 4 bay facade to south west. Entrance front has brick dressed end
strip pilasters, slightly recessed single outer bays, 2 centre bays on same
line as pilasters. 3 ground floor sashes with glazing bars, 2 outer sashes
under brick arches, 2 centre windows originally under rounded brick arches
with infilled typanums, now partly obscured by line of late C19 wooden
and part glazed porch addition. 4 first floor sashes with glazing bars.
South-west garden facade: 2 north-west bays have 2 ground and 2 first floor
sashes with flush brick rusticated surrounds and flat arches. At centre 2
storey segmental bow, carstone and brick with one ground and one first-floor
curved tripartite sashes with glazing bars, at ground floor under flat rubbed
brick arches, at first floor with wooden lintels with brick parapet above.
At south east, single bay with one ground and one first floor sash with glazing
bars. Deep eaves, hipped, low pitched roof. 2 ridge stacks on south ridge,
on south-east ridge, 2 off-ridge stacks.
