9/27 The Garden Cottage

Cottage. 1861. Gault brick with slate roof. H plan. One storey. Entrance
front of 2 gables, each with cusped 2-light Gothick window under square hood
on labels. Clasping corner pilaster strips. Gable head with raised letter
H. Flowing cusped bargeboards. Entrance bays recessed behind overhanging
roof supported on pair of cast iron columns. Half glazed door with round-
headed window right and left. Gabled roofs with 2 symmetrical ridge stacks
each with 2 flues.
