TF 73 SE BAGTHORPE WITH BARMER BAGTHORPE
7/3 Hall Farmhouse.
- II
Farmhouse. Early C18. Flemish bond red brick with black headers, pantiled
roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor has 2 C20 windows inserted into original
segmental arched brick heads. 3 first floor C20 windows in earlier openings,
2 narrowed. C20 porch addition, brick. Ground floor plinth, first floor plat-
band, dentil eaves cornice. South gable has external chimney breast with set
off angles, stack with inset panel. North gable has pre-1700 brick and flint
evidence encased within early C18 brick quoins and string course. 2 blocked
first floor windows, brick gable with "S" purlin irons, C20 stack. 2 storey
outshut rear of 2 builds.
