Heath House Farmhouse.
- II
Farmhouse. Late C18. English bond red brick, red and smut pantile roof.
Symmetrical east and west facade with 3 storey gabled centre, 2 storey set
back lean-to wings. South front centre has 2 ground, 3 first and one attic
wooden frame casements. Central glazed door. Wings have one ground floor
3-light and one first floor 2-light casements. Centre has coped brick parapet
with kneelers. South has C18 bracketed pentice canopy to ground floor door.
Inspired by Palladian facade arrangement of pedimented centre with 2 half
pediment wings. Suggests connection with C18 Houghton Estate architecture.
