Row of 4 almshouses. C18. Whitewashed brick, black glazed pantiles. Single
storey, formerly single bay cottages, now in 2 occupations. To west 2 centre
hung casements with glazing bars, to east 2 inserted C20 plate glass windows.
3 boarded doors, flush door opening filled in. At west original plan of front
parlour-kitchen and rear bedroom with corner fireplaces. Rear centre hung
casements. Appears as block plan in Isaac Ware Plans ... Houghton (1735) 1750
