2/43 The Barn House.

House. 2 builds, to west pre-1700 to east c.1700. Brick, flint and clunch
to north, red pantiled roofs. 2 storeys, 7 windows. Ground floor at south
has 5 sashes with glazing bars to west, 2 C20 arched headed casements to east.
5 first floor sashes with glazing bars, 2 casements. First floor plat-band.
Door with gabled pentice on brackets. Brick coped parapet end gables with
stacks. Single ridge stack. East gable has ground floor C20 lean-to, 2 first
floor casements under skew-back arches. Attic level plat-band, blank attic
window. North side, flint with brick dress to west, clunch with brick dress
and first floor plat-band to east.
