4/2 Complex of farm buildings
immediately west of Manor
Farmhouse

Range of byres, stables, granary and cattle yards. 1881. Gault brick with slate
roofs. Single storey except 2-storey granary to north of range. All fenestration
of sashes beneath segmental gauged arches. Dentil eaves cornice and gabled roofs.
All gable ends display decorative brick internal stepping. Byres and stables
have ridge line interrupted by gabled louvres. Interior roof structures of King
posts with struts to principals and one tier through purlins. Granary with steam
driven threshing machinery intact. Included as a particularly fine and complete
example of a Victorian advanced farmshed.
