Stables and service wing. 1697 but incorporating substantial remains of abbey
buildings of late C12. Carstone, some brick and ashlar dressings. Rectangular
block with ashlar faced diagonal corner buttresses. One storey in symmetrical
disposition. Central carriage entrance beneath basket arch. 4 round-headed
window openings to right, some blocked. 3 similar openings to left, all with
ashlar dressings. Walls divide interior into loose boxes.
