Station building, former goods office, 1898 by W.N. Ashbee, carstone with
brick dressings, half-timbering, plain tiles. 2 bays, single storey; lower
walls of small carstone with brick dressings, upper walls half-timbered and
plastered. 1st bay projects under hipped roof, large central window; 2nd
bay with door to left and 2 small leaded lights to right; right hand gable
with 3-light leaded window. Platform facade with no canopy; 2 windows to
left, doorway to right. Forms a group with Downside q.v. 2/74.
