Early C19 terrace with convex curved front facing sea. Yellow brick. Slate roof
with bracketed eaves. 3 storeys and attic. 11 windows. Sashes with glazing bars,
mostly restored. 1st floor later balcony with wooden balustrade, and ground floor
4 later large splayed bays of sashes. Segmental headed recessed doorways with
segmental fanlights, No 4 with circular tracery, Nos 1, 2 and 4 have original flush-panel
doors, No 3's door is modern. 8 later flat-roofed dormers.
The Crescent and Brunswick House in The Gangway form a group, of which Tuckers Hotel,
No 5 and The Crescent are of local interest only.
