C17 house. Flint and brick. East front whitewashed. Steep pantile roof with
gabled ends with brick coping; 2 storeys. Approximately 6 bays. Mainly modern
casements with glazing bars or leaded panes. No 2 has large 3-light casement
and sash with glazing bars or leaded panes. No 2 has large 3-light casement
and sash with glazing bars. Right of centre (No 1) a C17 2-storey flint and
brick porch with brick parapet, Chamfered brick arched entrance, and 1st floor
window with later brick and tile pediments, good C17 doorway inside porch with
moulded jambs and 4-centered arch head with carved spandrels and original door
with fillet moulds. No 2's door is C18 with fielded panels and in heavy doorcase.
The rear(west) is rendered; 2-light wood mullion/transom casements; central
external chimney stack truncated, and window and doorway inserted. Lean-to
on left. Chimney stack at each end and one off centre.
