C16. Restored 1830-6. Flint (Quaternary) with brick and terracotta dressings. Lincolnshire Limestone elements. Black glazed pantile roof with crow-stepped gable ends with octagonal moulded brick finials on corners. (The gables were originally moulded but not crow-stepped). Two storeys and attic. Five bays. Early-mid C19 five-light moulded mullion windows with dripmoulds. Moulded stucco stringcourse and coved eaves cornice. Off centre three storey tower porch with brick octagonal corner buttresses, originally gabled but crenellated early/mid C19, and with four-centred arch doorway. Four very fine brick chimney stacks with decorated terracotta shafts with star tops. Two C19 gabled dormers. Extended in C19 at rear and with two small C19 rear wings and domestic wing to north-east. This wing and the yard to the west of the house is screened by an embattled wall of flint and brick with two terracotta finials which were probably taken from rear of house when extended in C19. Gothic interior of 1830-6 with good gothic staircase with embattled newels. Panelled dining room of 1865. Some linenfold panelling in one room probably saved from the original interior.
