Corn Hill

TF 9129 SE 4/112


Late C18/early C19. Yellow brick east side, red brick west side. Slate roof
with gabled ends. Pedimented gable at centre with lunette. 3:2:3 bays, centre
projects slightly, sashes with glazing bars, flat brick arches, some blind.
Ground floor 4 round-headed doors, 2 at centre blocked, left hand passageway
through. String course at 1st floor level. On south end early C19 section:
3 storeys; 2 windows; yellow and red brick; hipped slated roof; paired eaves
brackets; wide pilasters; sashes with glazing bars. Later C19 additions on north
and west.
