Late C16 or early C17 origin; faced in flint and C18 red brick. Brick dentil
eaves. String course. Steep gable-ended roof with pantiles, mostly black-glazed;
2 storeys. Nine irregularly-spaced windows. One and 2-light casements and
5 sashes with glazing bars, 3 with thick glazing bars.
Fielded-panel door at centre. Two modern metal-frame windows and door at south
end (The Cottage). Brick chimney stack off centre and at north end. Sashes
at rear with glazing bars.
Interior: ground floor room with C17 panelling with C18 cornice, and moulded
beam. Another ground floor room with late C16/early C17 moulded beam and fielded-panel
doors.
Outbuildings attached to either end. North end probably C17: rubble; pantile
roof with brick coping to gabled ends. Contains fireplace with moulded stone
jambs (probably from elsewhere) and wide cambered timber bressummer. South
end C17/18: a long range with steep pantile roof with gabled ends; brick and
flint.
