Late C15 with later alterations. Stuccoed timber-frame. Black-glazed pantile
roof with gabled ends; 3 storeys. Second floor 2 sashes without glazing bars.
First floor late C19 oriel on brackets. Ground floor early/mid C19 shop with
moulded architrave, narrow fascia and cornice. Left hand return facing Bridewell
Street jettied gable and jettied 1st floor with exposed joist ends on moulded
bressummer, 4 brackets and carved angle post supporting dragon beam. Rear
wing, facing Bridewell Street: plastered timber-frame; steep gable-ended pantile
roof; 2 storeys; 1st floor jettied. First floor 3 sashes without glazing bars
ground floor 2 sashes, right hand with 3-lights glazing bars and panelled shutters;
central panelled door in moulded architrave with panelled reveals. Brick chimney
stack off centre.
