Late C16. Timber-framed; 2 storeys and attic. Jettied 1st floor with close-set
studding and painted brick and plaster infilling. Ground floor plastered. Steep
black-glazed pantile roof with coped gable ends and overhanging eaves. Six
1st floor sashes with glazing bars in moulded cases with crenellated cills and
heads. Ground floor 3 small shop windows, centre mid C19 with cornice, right
hand mid C19 with fixed-light multi-pane window and crenellated cornice over,
left hand 3-light window probably late C19. Left hand panelled double doors
with rectangular fanlight over in moulded doorcase, and right hand glazed double-
doors. Two flat-roof dormers with casements, one with leaded panes. Brick
chimney stacks off centre and at north end. Grade II* for group value.
