At right angles to rear of No 38. C15 or C16 origin now very much altered and
retraced in C18 with red brick and No 34 brick and flint now colour-washed. Steep
pantile roof, west end hipped, east end with brick coped gable end. Brick dentil
eaves and brick band at floor level; 2 storeys and attic. No 34 has gabled attic
dormer.
Front (south): irregular fenestration, 7 windows, sashes and casements with glazing
bars, ground floor of No 36 has 3-light wood mullion/transom casement with leaded
panes. No 36 has fire insurance plaque on front. Panelled doors, No 34's door
inaide passageway which continues through to rear.
Rear (north): 3 brick chimney stacks, No 36's external. C15/16 3-light stone
window with drip mould at 1st floor of No 34: No 36 has blocked 4-centred stone
arch doorway with dripmould; and partly blocked heavy moulded wood window frame
on 1st floor. Large timber bressummer at centre to what must have originally
been carriageway, now blocked.
