C17 or earlier. Stuccoed flint and brick. Steep black-glazed pantile roof with
gabled ends; 2 storeys and attic. First floor 4 windows, 2 small 2-light casements
on left with glazing bars, and 2-light wood mullion/transom casements on right.
Ground floor projects, one sash with glazing bars and 3-light sash; right hand
fielded panel door in heavy doorcase, left hand modern fielded panel door. Rebuilt
central brick chimney stack. Said to have vaulted brick cellars. Interior of
No 46, 1st floor mural dated "GW 1683" with Royal Coat of Arms flanked by vases
of flowers, painted.
