Mid-later C19. Formerly a school. Red brick with yellow brick and stone dressings.
Tudor gothic style. Steep slated roofs with 2 gables with moulded stone coping,
stone finials at each corner; 2 storeys and attic. Five windows. First floor
windows with continuous dripmoulds. Two and 3-light mullion/transom windows
with leaded panes. To left and right, doorway with studded 4-centred arch door
with ornate hinges; carved spandrels and dripmould; panel over each door with
inscription "Girls" and "Boys". Over each gable end a chimney stack with pair
of octagonal brick shafts with moulded caps and bases.
