Cleave's House

Mid-later C19 almshouses. Red brick with large panels of flint on ground floor.
Steep pantile roof with gabled ends with moulded stone coping. Moulded brick
dentilled eaves; 2 storeys. Eight bays divided by flat brick pilasters. All
modern 3-light metal-frame casements with glazing bars. Five tall brick chimney
stacks with diagonally set shafts. At rear original wood mullion casements
and modern brick porches (no doorways at front).
