5/18 Hall Farmhouse
G.V. II
House. Late C18 with earlier core. Brick. Slate roof. 3 cell plan with
C19 outshuts to rear. Facade of 2 storeys, 3 bays. Galleted flint plinth.
Tripartite sashes with glazing bars and horns. Central door of 6 panels, the
upper 4 glazed. Surround with fluted pilasters, foliage to fascia, flat hood.
Ground floor openings with flat rubbed brick heads. Upper floor with
segmental arches. Timber cornice. Parapet gables, steeply pitched roof.
Paired square shafts to gable-end stacks. Right hand gable wall with flint
plinth; 2 C20 windows to ground floor. 2 attic lights. Remains of tumbling-
in to left hand gable.
