6/35 Outbuilding at Flaxmans
Outbuilding, now a pigsty with loft above. C17 with C19 alterations. Flint
with brick dressings. Belgian tile roof. Rectangular on plan. Facade to
farmyard of 2 storeys. C19 doorway to left; to right of it a small C17 opening
now with louvring. Brick buttress. To right a long timber lintel with soldier
arch over of possibly C17 brick; opening now partly blocked and with a C19 door-
way. To first floor 2 C17 openings now with louvring. Blocked light to south
gable. Roof of shallow pitch. Interior. Ogee and nicked stops to beams in left
hand sty.
