20/9 Chequers Inn

House. C17 or earlier. Flint, brick, whitewashed, black pantile roof. 2 storey
public house. Black flint plinth. Ground floor 3 windows with random brick quoins
and simple rough arched heads. Sash windows with glazing bars. C17 rectangular
brick quoined window now built into wall. Four panel door. First floor 4 windows,
blocked surrounds, sashes with glazing bars. One C20 window at S. Quoined gable
walls, brick dentil cornice, kneelers coped parapet end stacks.
