House. C16. Flint and red brick dress. Red and black pantiled banded roof.
2 storeys, attics. Earlier house L plan largely refaced c1870 with rear wing
to make doublepile. SW gables and stone eaves bracket in middle of N. front
and NW gable with filled in mullioned windows and brick quoins establish earlier
history. 1870 mvllioned and transomed windows grouped in gabled wing at R and
in canted bay at L. 2 1/2 storey tower in angle of L, porch with pier, entablature
and massive stone brackets. Hipped pyramid roof. Interior with mid C17 baluster
staircase. At rear C19 one storey service wing with verandah to N and recut stone
arch door EE style.
