Cottages. Dated 1834. Pebble flint, red brick dressings. Roof slates. Pair of
1 1/2 storeys. One bay each. Entrances at side and rear. Brick plinth, end quoins
and dentil cornice; quoins mark party wall. Dressed window openings, under cambered
gauged brick arches. Three-light cast iron casement windows, glazing bars.
Dormers. Two-light cast iron casements, g1asing bars, wooden surrounds. Coped
and parapetted gables, central gault stack. Good examples of Holkham Estate
cottage type.
