Cottages. c1830, Flint, gault brick dressings. Roof smut pantiles. Pair of
2 storeys, 2 bays, with lean-to porches, l 1/2 storey, on axis. Brick plinth, first
floor string course, brick dentil eaves; brick quoins at corners and to window
apertures. Ground floor 3-light iron casements, glazing bars, C19, with quoined
surrounds and slightly cambered arches. First floor 2-light cast iron casements,
glazing bars, brick quoins, wooden lintel. Doors part glazed under brick cambered
arches. Central stack. Listed with Nos 35, 36 as examples of Holkham Estate
cottage types.
