Church Farm House

Red House Farmhouse)


Farmhouse. c1800. Red brick with red pantiled roof. Three storeys, double pile
plan. Ground floor with 2 and first floor with 3 C20 windows within original openings
under rubbed brick arches; third floor retains earlier sash windows with glazing bars
to facade, return and rere. Door-case with fluted doric pilasters carrying the
entablature; panelled door. Low pitched hipped roof with projecting eaves, stack on
ridges, 2 storey service wing at west.
