School. Datestone : "National School erected to the glory of God and the Welfare of
man 1840". Flint with red brick dressings. Red pantiled roof. Tudor-Gothic. Single
storey, 5 bay facade. Outer bays with 2 mullions and transomed casement windows with
chamfered brick surrounds with stucco drip-moulds. Central porch with buttresses and
coped gable with datestone. Brick plinth, end buttresses with conical caps,
crow-stepped gables and end stacks. South lean-to with gothic headed door.
