TG 42 SW HICKLING

6/7 Stubb Mill

II

Windpump. Brick with cap of corrugated iron. Early C19. 3 storeys, later
raised by fourth cylindrical storey on tapering tower. Segmental-headed
windows at intervals off-set to each floor, all with glazing bars. Segmental
doorway to south. To west sluice and remains of external scoop wheel. Fan
cradle survives. Interior retains brakewheel and windshaft, upright shaft
and pitwheel.
