Garden wall. Circa 1700. Brick and flint. Roughly rectangular in shape
enclosing garden to east of hall and attached to the house. Brick and flint
plinth with brick quoins at corners. Wall in alternate courses of headers
and whole flints. Brick moulded cornice of pronounced cyma recta section
leads up to moulded brick coping with top roll. Interior has leaning
buttresses at intervals. Where wall immediately defines extent of forecourt
of house it is faced with brick only on west side. Mid C20 gate piers and
additional walling to forecourt not included.
