5/66 Stewards House

G.V. II

House. Circa 1700. Brick with pantiled roof, the pantiles on south roof
slope black glazed. South front of 2 storeys and dormer attic in 3 bays.
Central C20 door. Vitrified brick platband between storeys. Fenestration
of 2-light cross casements with original iron casements and leaded lights.
All openings under segmental arches. Bell based gabled roof above early C19
eaves cornice. 2 gabled dormers and internal gable end stacks. Gable head
with tumbling. North side has full length outshut under catslide roof. One
C20 door and 4 C20 casements, all under segmental arches. 2 gabled dormers.
Interior largely late C20.
