Early C18. Red brick, part plastered and colourwashed. Steep pantile roof,
black-glazed on N. side, red on S. Coped parapetted gables with tumbling. 2s and
attics. No elevation (to High Street) colourwashed, sashes with architraves and
glazing bars. Off-centre 4-panelled entrance door with plain doorcase and rectangular
fanlight. 2s projecting bow window on W. side of doorway. Modillion eaves. Brick
chimney stack at each gable, and on off-centre to E. Projecting inn sign on fine iron
scroll bracket.
Catslide roof on S. side. Three pantiled attic dormers.
Courtyard to S. with brick, flint and pantile stable block with lunettes and stable
and hay-loft doors.
