Late C17, with possibly earlier core. Pebbledash rendered and colourwashed, probably
timber framed. Steep-pitched pantile roof. Two storeys and attic with
part-basement. Sash windows.
Modern shopfront to No. 1. Doorcase with fluted pilasters to No 3. Projecting bay
window with sashes. Modern shopfront to No 5. Projecting C20 wing at NE corner with
shaped gable: 2 storeys and attic, red brick and pantile. Parapetted gable with
chimney stack to S. Large off-centre brick chimney. Gabled dormer with leaded light.
