Parish Church, largely Perpendicular. Flint with stone dressings, slate
nave and tiled chancel roofs. West tower, nave, south porch, chancel.
Perpendicular west tower with set-off angle buttresses, Perpendicular west
door and 2 light window. 4 belfry rectangular traceried sound holes and
4 2-light Decorated tracery belfry windows, on south with missing tracery.
Perpendicular south porch with Perpendicular 5 panel south door. Nave south
wall one switch tracery window, and 3-light straight-headed Perpendicular
window. Nave north wall with blocked north door c.1300 and 2 2-light
Decorated windows. Chancel south one 2-light straight-headed Perpendicular
window, one Decorated 2-light window, Priest's south door; to north one
2-light Decorated window. East window 4-light intersecting tracery c.1500.
Interior: Perpendicular tower, arch on responds. Perpendicular tower door
in Perpendicular arch. Perpendicular chancel arch with stairs door and rood
loft door. Nave with south wall piscina. Stone window embrasure seats
to chancel north and south windows. c19OO rood screen with loft.
East window stained 1863. Mid C19 arched braced nave roof on mid C19 corbels.
Wall tablets: 1834 by Smith of Fakenham, 1857 by Patterson of Manchester.
C18 black and white marble floor to altar.
