TG 03 SW MELTON CONSTABLE MELTON CONSTABLE PARK

3/64 The Dairy.

G.V. II

Dairy. c.1840. Gault brick, brown glazed pantiles. 2 storey, 3 bay facade,
outshut rear. Tudor-Gothic. 3-ground and 3-first floor sashes with glazing
bars under brick drip mould hoods. Moulded kneelers and cornice. Outshut
with 2 sashes with glazing bars, moulded brick eaves, over windows of mould
wood. Massive central eaves-level stack at rear, stuccoed base, 4 octagonal
stacks, 3 surviving, brick star pattern copings. Interior simple rectangular
rooms without evidence of special built-in furniture. Forms a group with Dairy
Cottage and Dairy Farm House.
